Good day, my name is Colin Arnott and I was appointed the 13th district IAFF MG co-ordinator last month. I am from Pickering local 1632 and I am the Vice President of the local. I would like to organize a ride for this month. The ride will be the 'Ride for Sight' on Saturday June 23. The ride leaves from the AMC theatre in Whitby and proceeds east to Trenton. (Approximately 150k) If you want to stay overnight, there is camping and entertainment that day. The cost is $75. If you want more info, you can go on their website www.rideforsight.com and click on Central Ontario. If you are interested, let me know, and I will send out emails as the date gets closer regarding a rendevous point, flags etc..

There is a national ride to Sturgis taking place in Sept. Please let me know if you are interested, as the IAFF is trying to find out how many will be attending this event. There is more info on the IAFF website. There is an IAFF MG chat room at Yahoo. More info will be forthcoming from the IAFF on this. If you have any photos of bikes, tatoos, rides, etc, please forward to me. We are trying to enhance the IAFF MG website. I was thinking of organizing a ride to Port Dover on Friday July 13 as well. Stay tuned for more updates.  If you have any questions or concerns, I can be reached at colinarnott@rogers.com
